Jernej Kruder is known for his recognizable power-dynamic climbing style. He climbs 8c boulders as well as long endurance routes. He has a number of first ascents up to grade 9a+ to his credit, and in total he has written more than 600 routes for 8a and more in his diary. Jernej is not only good in bouldering and sport climbing, but also traditional routes and bigwalls. He has many successes to his credit, but among the best is clearly Chris Sharma's deep water solo route - DWS Es Pontas 9b in Mallorca, which he even climbed twice (only two climbers have succeeded, of which Jernej is one of them). His other significant milestone was winning the IFSC Bouldering World Cup.
Jernej's longest long-term plan is to climb as long as possible and for climbing to always bring him joy.
