Place of stay: Prague
Years climbing: About 11 years
Specialization: Deffinitely lead! Some say I could also be a specialist in anoying others (just kidding).
Gabriela´s facebook fan page is here.
Favourite weapons: Womanly curves and Ozone Lady shoes are suffitient. These always work for me.
When did you start climbing and who with?
With mum, who was against at first, but then she started climbing with me.
Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it?
I have one that originated in Tatra mountains thanks to my mum. Mates in Vrchlabí climbing club don´t call me any other way, but I won´t deliberately tel you.
Hardest and most valuable sends:
In my eyes it´s always valuable when I manage the steep approche to the crag, such as the one in Elbe valley. It always makes me tired. If you´re interested in numbers, then it is Karies 8b in Ospu.
If you didn´t climb, what would you probably do with your life?
Sleep. And definitely would not eat vegetable salads.
What is your favourite place in the world?
What do you like the most about climbing?
I simply like the movement. And it doesn´t matter if it´s some slithering on the rock, or executing the moves on the edge of my personal limits... It´s all just dancing on the rock.
How long was your longest fall, when and where did it happen?
It must have taken place in Elbe valley, probably. But I don´t have a wide collection of long falls. I hate pulling myself back up on the rope, so my balayer is always trying hard to catch me the best way possible, because otherwise I´d act very unpleasantly.
Are you scared of falling?
Actually, I kind of like falling. It´s promissing the moment when my hands stop aching and I´d be allowed to take some rest.
Are you scared of anything else?
Snakes, earthworms. Once, whean I was a little kid, an earthworm was following me on my way from school. It was huge! I had to jump over it on a narrow path and then run without looking back.
What is your ape index?
People often tell me I look like an ape, so it´s probably good. Of course it looks a bit worse when wearing a dress.
