When did you start climbing and who with?

I started climbing at the age of 10 in a small club next to my home, just for fun. Two years later, I wanted to learn more about climbing, so I started to compete.

Do you have a nickname? If so, how did you get it?

Some of my friends call me PanPan. I  really don’t know why, but it’s a rabbit in Peter Pan. When he’s nervous, he´s tapping with his foot. This nickname follows me already for a long time.

Hardest and most valuable sends:

In my mind, the most valuable boulder I have ever done is  La Force on Orsay’s roof. This is a very long boulder around 8C+, it´s taken me considerable efforts and its ascent is my gift and memory for Remy Bergasse, a strong french climber who unfortunatelly deceased.

If you didn´t climb, what would you probably do with your life?

Maybe I would be an independent traveller. I like discovering cultures, incredible places and feeling free everywhere I am.

What is your favourite place in the world?

Right now the perfect place to live for me is Mallorca. Sea, climbing and sun.

What do you like the most about climbing?

I love the fact that you have to keep finding new betas and new ways to climb. In my mind, climbing means being able to adapt yourself to climb the rock up.

How long was your longest fall, when and where did it happen?

Many years ago, when I was rope climbing, I was in Ceüse. I was climbing Radotes joli Pepère 8b. I was too pumped to clip, so I kept climbing and I fell right above a huge roof, so it was safe but the fall was about 15 meters long. I thought that my brain was about to explode.

Are you scared of falling?

Not at all, it’s a part of the game! What is more awesome than adrenalin?

Are you scared of anything else?

Maybe my mother when she’s angry.

What is your ape index?

I’m 1.70 m tall and my arms span is 1.80 m, so my ape index is 1,058 (or 10 cm).
